Linda G. Russell, Janesville  (1952 - 2012)

Linda G. Russell, age 59, of Janesville, died on Monday, June 11, 2012, at home. She was born in Weatherford, TX, on Aug. 19, 1952, the daughter of Eugene and Louise (Wyatt) Ray and was a 1970 graduate of Poolville High School. Linda married Donald Holmes in Poolville, TX, Sept. 5, 1970, and later married Lloyd Russell on July 22, 1989, in Milton. She worked for LeMans as a shipping clerk. Linda enjoyed puzzle books, old movies, fishing, playing cards, spend-ing time with family and friends and was a Nascar and Packer fan.
She is survived by her three children: Karen (Jasen) McKee of South Beloit, Joseph (Joseph Tomasino) Holmes of Milwaukee and Jeff (Kari) Holmes of Janesville; an “adopted son”, Luke Haseman of Janesville; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kimberly; father of her children, Donald Holmes of Janesville; two brothers, Gary and Donald Ray of Texas; and faithful companion, Rusty. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Russell; and a brother, Fred.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, from 2 until 4 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville, with a gathering for family and friends following at Tremors.
