JANESVILLE—Lois H. and Gary C. Gustaveson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Gustaveson and Lois H. Koeppel were married Dec. 5, 1959, in Jefferson. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from the Janesville School District. Their family includes Christine and Michael Gustaveson, Kenosha; and Deborah and Rodney Rhodes, Janesville. They also have three grandchildren.

AVALON—Marilynn and Dick Hitchcock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Hitchcock and Marilynn Saunders were married Dec. 7, 1959, in Edgerton. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. Their family includes Vicki Carter, Edgerton; Mark Hitchcock, Hurley; and Penny Pitts, Necedah. They also have six grandchildren.

Pamela L. Hauke and Bryan R. Early were married Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Albany, N.Y. Their parents are Sophie Harcar and Paul Hauke, both of Point Pleasant, N.J., and Pam and Walt Early, Moline, Ill. Deanna Benedetti, friend of the couple, was the maid of honor. Matt Fuhrmann, friend of the couple, was the best man. The bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Va., in 2005, and a master’s degree in special education from the University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., in 2009. She is employed by Bethlehem Central School District, Bethlehem, N.Y. The groom graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2000, and received a doctorate in political science from the University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., in 2009. He is employed by State University of New York, Albany, N.Y. as an assistant professor. The newlyweds reside in Selkirk, N.Y.
