Tia Dricken and Rob Handel are engaged and planning a Saturday, June 22, wedding at Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church, Elkhorn.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy and Merrie Jo Dricken, Elkhorn. She graduated from Elkhorn Area High School, Elkhorn, in 2007 and received a degree in speech and language pathology from UW-Whitewater in 2012. She is employed by the Elkhorn School District.

Her fiancé is the son of Robert J. and Mary Lee Handel, Elkhorn. He graduated from Elkhorn Area High School, Elkhorn, in 2003 and received a degree in history from UW-Green Bay in 2007. He is employed by AXA Advisors, Elkhorn.

JANESVILLE—Kathleen and Russell Jenks celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Jan. 10.

Jenks, formerly of Edgerton, and Kathleen Schensky, formerly of Cottage Grove, were married Jan. 10, 1948, at Hope Lutheran Church near Madison. They are both retired.

Their family includes John Jenks and Linda Cottier, both of Janesville. They also have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
