Salvation Army food drive begins
JANESVILLE Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club on Deerfield Drive are holding a food drive now through Sunday, Nov. 4.
Non-perishable food can be dropped off at either location. Collected food will be given to The Salvation Army in Janesville to help feed people through the Army’s meal site and food pantry.
Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club also will collect contributions from associates that will be used to buy a pallet of food for The Salvation Army food pantry. Grants to The Salvation Army of up to $1,000 each from Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club corporations also are anticipated.
