Parker golfers lose opener
MIDDLETON Middleton’s Sam Stone and Madison West’s Mike Vattista shot 78 and tied for medalist honors as the Cardinals opened the Big Eight golf season with a victory over the Regents and Parker Vikings on Tuesday.
Middleton shot a 333 at Pleasant View. West fired a 341. Parker shot 356 on a windy day.

Craig meet postponed
Craig High’s season-opening Big Eight meet at Sun Prairie with Beloit was postponed because of wet grounds at the Sun Prairie Country Club. The meet was rescheduled for today.
