Memorial dominates Craig tennis team
Janesville Craig won just 18 games in 14 sets as the Cougars suffered a 7-0 loss to Madison Memoria in Big Eight boys tennis Tuesday.
The only close match came at No. 2 doubles as Memorial’s Ben and Jacob Wolf defeated David Jacowski and Bryan Stevens, 7-6 (10-8), 6-2. Jacowski and Stevens had set point on two occasions in the first set but couldn’t close the deal.
“That was the match of the day,” Craig coach Gary Hallowell said.
The Cougars (1-3) host Madison East on Thursday.
