A man and woman are hospitalized after a car versus motorcycle crash in Janesville Friday afternoon. Police say the car was northbound on Washington when it turned in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle then hit the car.

The two on the motorcycle were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital.

Were they wearing helmets, they always list car driver accidents as they were/were not wearing seatbelts.

Were the 2 on the motorcycle seriously hurt?

If the driver was issued a citation it will be interesting to see if they will try to include the ROW Law Wisconsin ACT 466....

I too was very curious about citations, like several of us witnesses were. There was absolutly nothing obstructing her view of the cycle. Either she didn't bother to look before turning, or she is one of those who thinks just because she has the car, she has the right of way. Or maybe she was too busy on the phone she used to call all her co-workers, instead of checking on the people laying in the road.

We'd also like to know the reasoning for her little trip around the block before returning to the scene. Was there something in your car you didn't want to get caught with?

In short: yes.
I didn't include that in the story because the police didn't have the exact nature of the citation Friday afternoon. After reading your comment, I called police about it. As of early Saturday morning the report hasn't been filed.
