WCLO's Steve Benton reports on $3.5 million for airport projects

RSS

— Work is expected to get underway this month for some major upgrades for the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.

Airport Manager, Ron Burdick, says there are two projects. One is an additional taxiway and the other is the renovation of several T-hangers at the airport.

The cost of the projects is $3.5 million. The Federal Aviation Administration will pick up most of the tab while Rock County and the state will each pay around $88,000.

The work should be finished by next spring.
