— It's hard to keep quiet about something like the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels.

The navy is sending an advance team to the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport this week. According to Airfest spokesman, Tom Morgan, the jet team is scheduled to perform in Rock County this year, pending official confirmation next week.

If approved during the International Council of Air Shows, the Blue Angels have scheduled their F-18 Hornet jets for performances during this year's Airfest the weekend of May 29th through the 31st.

Morgan says the navy likes this area of the country because they get a lot of high quality recruits. The Blue Angels last performed at the Southern Wisconsin Airfest in 2005.
