Janesville's new city manager has already been the featured guest at a number of "meet and greets" including one Monday at the "29 South Cafe" on Main Street.

Eric Levitt says he's learning a lot from the candid conversations with average citizens. He says concerns shared include the direction of the community's comprehensive plan. He says several citizens thought it should be reviewed because of recent economic changes as illustrated by the shut down at General Motors.

Levitt says he likes these types of gatherings, because he hears about issues in ways not often discussed at city hall.
