Arrests

-- CALEB J. BOGLE, 18, of 302 Cherry Lane, Orfordville, at 3 p.m. Monday on a charge of substantial battery.

-- PATRICK M. PETERS, 19, of 1223 6th St., Beloit, at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday at State and Broad Streets in Beloit on a charge of party to aggravated battery and FREDRICK J. KLINGSFORTH, 19, of 1042 Bingham Ave., Janesville, at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Beloit Avenue on a charge of aggravated battery, both in connection with a June 26 incident in which a Janesville man and a Janesville woman reported being assaulted. Klingsforth also was arrested on a bench warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous charge of felony possession of marijuana.

-- BILLY L. MYERS, 36, of 3241 Randolph Road, Janesville, at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday at 317 Lynn St., on a charge of possession of THC with the intent to deliver.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- STEVEN S. MATTESON, 19, of 2141 Black Bridge Road, Janesville, on Friday on North Wright Road north of Park View Drive. He also was cited for underage drinking and passing into oncoming traffic.

-- OTTO J GAULKE, 32, of Clinton, at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on County X east of South Clinton Corners Road in Clinton Township.

-- TAMMERA M. HOLDEN, 29, of 2624 N. Lexington Drive, Janesville, at 2:32 a.m. Saturday at Mineral Point Avenue and Terrace Street.

-- JAMES J. JACOBSON, 28 of 2216 Refset Drive, Janesville, at 1:09 a.m. Sunday at Highway 14 and Bell Street, Janesville. It was reported as his fourth arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

-- TARA L. WINTERS, 30, of 2730 W. Wall St., Janesville, at 2:35 a.m. Sunday at Kellogg and Center avenues. It was reported as Winters’ second on a drunken-driving charge.

-- MICHAEL G. WADEL, 33, of 222 Pheasant Lane, Janesville, at 11:42 p.m. Sunday at South County G south of Highway 11 in Rock Township. Also ticketed for driving left of center.

-- KENNETH G. MEINEN, 60, of 318 Sweet Road, Darien, at 10:12 a.m. Monday on East Highway 14 south of County MM in Harmony Township. It was reported as Meinen’s third drunken-driving charge.

-- HARVEY SUTHERLAND, 44, of 2702 King St., Janesville, at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday at Center Avenue and Conde Street in Janesville. It was reported as Sutherland’s sixth drunken-driving charge.

Reported

-- ESCAPE reported by a correctional officer at the Rock County Jail. The officer reported Dusting J. Stolze, 23, of 1853 Spruce St., Beloit, failed to return to jail Sunday after Huber release privileges for medical treatment.

-- ESCAPE reported by a correctional officer at the Rock County Jail. The officer reported Sunday that Glenn B. Taylor, 37, of 322 N. Jackson St., Janesville, failed to report to work after being released on Huber privileges.

-- BURGLARY in the 100 block of North River Street, Janesville, reported Sunday morning. A laptop valued at $800 was reported stolen.

-- BURGLARY to Subway Restaurant, 2034 Milton Ave., Janesville, reported Sunday. Reported stolen were $600 in currency and coins and a safe valued at $100.

-- THEFT of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am valued at $4,000 reported Sunday from the 100 block of Forest Park Boulevard in Janesville. The vehicle was recovered Monday at Holmes and Jackson streets. Also reported stolen were $300 in currency, adult and children’s clothes valued at $300, keys and remote to the vehicle valued at $20 and a digital camera valued at $400.

-- BURGLARY to the concession stand at Rockport Pool reported Monday. Nothing was reported stolen, but damage to the door lock is estimated at $100.

-- BURGLARY in the first block of Flamingo Lane in Janesville reported Monday at 9:27 p.m. No report of items missing.

Fire

-- STOVE/KITCHEN FIRE at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday at 1913 Kensington St., Janesville. A 14-year-old was heating oil to fry chicken on the top of the stove, left the room, and when he came back found the stove, microwave and cabinets on fire, according to Janesville Fire Department Shift Commander Bill Ruchti. Damage, contained to the kitchen, was estimated at $10,000. The smoker detector near the kitchen had no battery in it, Ruchti said.

Charged

-- BRIAN J. PALUCH, 23, of 1426 N. Randall Ave., No. 2, Janesville, with escape after a correctional officer reported Paluch did not return to the Rock County Jail on May 22 after being released on Huber privileges to attend the birth of his child.

-- DAVID J. RIGGS, 32, of 633 Kellogg Ave., No. 2, Janesville, with two counts of felony bail-jumping after the girl of whom he is accused of sexually assaulting as a child reported that he had tried to talk to her twice although the child sexual assault case is not resolved.

-- JAIME A. PEREZ, 22, of 1030 Bingham Ave., Janesville, with two counts of operating a motor vehicle without owner consent after two vehicles were reported stolen June 24 in Janesville.

-- KENNETH C. DONAHUE, 58, of 115 Depot St., Footville, with sexual assault of a child younger than 16 and first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13 without great bodily harm.

-- RICHAR S. WILDKATSCH, 34, of 2801 S. River Road, Janesville, with sexual assault of a child younger than 16.
