-- DALE A. SHORT, 48, of 8867 N. Lima Center Road, Whitewater, on a charge of felon possessing a firearm Monday night after sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at his home. VANESSA L. STEPHENS, 34, same address, arrested on a charge of battery.
-- FOUR JANESVILLE TEENAGERS referred to juvenile authorities at 1:33 a.m. today at Beloit Avenue and Highway 11 in Janesville on charges of operating a motor vehicle without owner consent. Three of them—two 14-year-old Janesville boys and a 13-year-old Janesville girl—face the charges as passengers. A 15-year-old Janesville boy was driving, police reported.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- DAVID A. HAEFNER, 23, of 285 W. Holmes St., Janesville, at 3:15 a.m. today at Racine Street and Park Avenue in Janesville. Also arrested on a probation hold.

-- BURGLARY to World Buffet Restaurant, 2701 Milton Ave., Janesville, reported June 14. An estimated $274 damage done to gain entry. No report of anything stolen.

-- AARON M. NOSS, 30, of 833 Caroline St., Janesville; RANCE W. GEHRI, 28, of 709 Harding St., Janesville, and DANNY C. KVISTAD, 28, of 1516 Sylvester St., Janesville, all with being party to burglary, party to theft and party to criminal damage in connection with a break-in in August 2005 to Janesville RV Center, 4033 N. Highway 51, and three camping trailers at the business.
-- HAYLEY K. RICHTER, 28, of 102 W. Rollin St., Edgerton, with escape after a correctional officer reported that she did not return to the Rock County Jail on May 20 after being released on Huber privileges to look for work.
-- KRYSTAL L. ZILKE, 17, of 5815 N. Lima Center Road, Whitewater, with burglary in connection with the theft of sweatshirts from a garage in Harmony Township in late May.
-- NORMA J. RAUSCH, 41, of 306 N. Academy St., No. 3, Janesville, with identity theft for financial gain after a Janesville woman reported several withdrawals from her local credit union account.
-- FRANK A. SHERMAN, 54, Capton, Ill., with operating a motor vehicle without owner consent in connection with the theft Saturday of a 1999 Chevrolet Cobalt from a residence in Milton.
