Second BID meeting set for July 16

JANESVILLE — A second meeting has been scheduled for downtown property owners to address questions related to a proposed business improvement district.

The meeting will be from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the Janesville Performing Arts Center, 408 S. Main St.

Members of the Downtown Development Alliance’s BID Task Force will present answers to some of the questions raised at the first meeting on June 24. The group also will provide samples of the successes of other business improvement districts throughout the state. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute their ideas for the new BID in a small group format.

Invitations have been sent to all affected downtown property owners.
