WCLO's Steve Benton reports on Beloit Riverfest 2008

— Beloit Riverfest officials are already planning for next year, despite having to cancel one of four nights of entertainment this year.

Riverfest concluded Sunday night with a great performance by the Beach Boys. Riverfest Executive Director Rod Beaudoin says overall the fest was great, but Thursday was a washout because of bad weather.

That leaves the financial success of this year's event in limbo for the time being. Beaudoin says he and Vice President of the Riverfest Board of Directors, Becky Rogers, have already discussed changes to be proposed for next year, which is a good indication that the fest will survive.
