Beloit Riverfest finale
BELOIT Beloit Riverfest officials are already planning for next year, despite having to cancel one of four nights of entertainment this year.
Riverfest concluded Sunday night with a great performance by the Beach Boys. Riverfest Executive Director Rod Beaudoin says overall the fest was great, but Thursday was a washout because of bad weather.
That leaves the financial success of this year's event in limbo for the time being. Beaudoin says he and Vice President of the Riverfest Board of Directors, Becky Rogers, have already discussed changes to be proposed for next year, which is a good indication that the fest will survive.

How about variety ?? A night of oldies, one for country, etc. The same old returning acts is wearisome.Shuttle from Eclipse Center to Main Stage entrance? Parking at Eclipse, walking from Henry Ave. to Portland is a TREK.We are not Young.AT least parking personnal at eclipse should announce no shuttle,BEFORE paying, parking.Werent these (riverfest) acts just at Summerfest(Milwaukee)?PLEASE quit with the same acts every other,or 3 years.
