Rally snuffs Snappers

BELOIT — West Michigan scored three runs in the eighth inning to send the Beloit Snappers to a 4-3 defeat in Midwest League baseball Friday.

The Snappers’ Mark Dolenc hit a two-run homer in the third inning.

The Whitecaps’ scored three runs in the eighth on a double, wild pitch and a sacrifice fly. Loek Van Mil (2-2) took the loss in relief allowing three runs on one hit.
