City of Janesville may keep GM vehicles in fleet

Podcast Episode
The City of Janesville has used GM vehicles, almost exclusively, for years.
Director of Administrative Services Jay Winzenz says the City Council's policy points to cost savings with standardized parts as the reason. City Council President Amy Loasching says despite GM's plans to close down the Janesville plant, the council probably won't change the policy. Loasching, who works for UAW Local 95, says GM will still have a presence in the area because they'll be supporting retirees for many years.
