Grogan tournament moved to McQuade Field
JANESVILLE Typical of Janesville ball this summer, the Mike Grogan Baseball Classic will have a change of scenery.
As a result of the flood conditions at Riverside Park, the tournament that features three Janesville teams has been shifted to Phil McQuade Memorial Field in the Youth Sports Complex on Wuthering Hills Drive.
The Janesville Legion plays the Janesville East Junior Legion at 5 p.m. Tuesday and the West Junior Legion at 5 p.m. Wednesday. East and West meet at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The Legion alumni game has been canceled.
Proceeds from the Grogan tournament help fund scholarships for Janesville Craig and Janesville Parker high school students who played baseball.
