— Another man has been charged in the ongoing investigation of alleged prostitution at Janesville’s only strip club.

Ryan S. Arneson, 32, of 2904 Carrousel Lane, No. 4, Janesville, acknowledged paying a Milwaukee woman $100 for oral sex last July, the criminal complaint against him charges.

He was charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.

The woman—LaShonta D. Nickison, 21, Milwaukee—was a dancer at Screamin’ MeeMees, 402 W. Delavan Drive. She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor prostitution last summer when the investigation began.

Arneson responded to a summons and already appeared in court, so while he was charged, he was not arrested, and no booking photo was available.

He pleaded not guilty.

Further details have emerged concerning the charge against Martin Z. Guerrero, 20, Burlington, whose arrest was reported earlier this week.

Guerrero acknowledged paying $30 to be masturbated by a dancer from Screamin’ MeeMees last July, according to the criminal complaint against him.

So far, 16 people have been charged in the ongoing investigation. More charges are anticipated.

$100 is quite a bit steep for oral sex. I saw a story about the street prostitutes only charging $10 in Chicago.

I am for legal prostitution. I say there is more revenue in taxing them on what they make for their services than arresting them.

I have been to that establishment, around the time of the arrests, for a get together with a few friends. I found nothing wrong with the dancers performing and then being social with the customers. I even wanted to buy my boyfriend a private dance, but the girl I wanted to dance for him was too busy.
By the way, I find it shameful to publicize anyone's booking photograph. If a person is innocent of the charges, they were publicly embarrassed wrongfully.

How big of a loser or idiot do you have to be to pay $100 for a very low rent stripper to give you oral sex? Bet you that guy plays a lot of online games.

This is from the original three that were arrested. Not the last ten.

The article states why there is no photo. I'm positive that the reason they stated the following was to avoid any questions as to why there wasn't a photo displayed: "Arneson responded to a summons and already appeared in court, so while he was charged, he was not arrested, and no booking photo was available."

You showed pictures of the employees arrested for prostitution. Why don't you show pictures of the men who paid for their services! Maybe, if they ALL go through a little humiliating embarrassment, they'll think twice before they pull out their wallets.
