Two injured in morning rollover
JANESVILLE Two men were treated and released from Mercy Hospital early today after being injured in a semitrailer truck that rolled over while exiting Interstate 90/39 onto Highway 11.
Injured were Oleksiy Chornyy, 32, of Ontario, Canada, and Arthur Khatskevitch, 34, Canada. Chornyy was driving the semi pulling a fully loaded trailer, while Khactskevitch was sleeping in the sleeper berth of the cab.
Chornyy told Wisconsin State Patrol trooper Brandon Ferrell he felt a wobbling in the truck and intended to pull off the Interstate to check and see what was going on. He didn’t realize how sharp the turn was, Ferrell said.
Janesville fire and police assisted on scene. Ferrell said he would be citing Chornyy for driving too fast for conditions.
