WCLO's Steve Benton reports on Rock County Red Cross blood drives in June

RSS

— Despite rising gas prices, summer is a busy time for people as they increase the number of outdoor activities. Whether your vacationing or taking care of some of your "honey-do" list, it's easy to forget about things like Red Cross blood drives.

Donor recruitment representative, Tammy Newberry, says they're always looking for new donors. She says their source for new donors is limited during the summer. The range of potential donors is wider, however, and now includes teens.

Watch for community blood drives in June in Janesville, Beloit, Clinton, Edgerton, and Evansville.
