WCLO's Steve Benton reports Regal Beloit Corporation has a great third quarter

RSS

— Regal Beloit Corporation pushed passed difficulties in the economy to record a strong third quarter.

Chairman and C.E.O., Henry Knueppel, says sales were up 38% over the same period last year. He says acquisitions in 2007 helped the bottom line.

Not all the news was positive however. Knueppel says operating expenses were up due to increased costs of raw materials. But overall, Knueppel says Regal Beloit Corporation will be able to pay shareholders for their loyalty. He says earnings per share will be between $.67 to $.75 for the fourth quarter.

Regal Beloit Corporation is a leading manufacturer and marketer of mechanical and electrical motion control and power generation products.
