Jackson Square brings businesses together

Forward Janesville celebrates downtown revitalization Thursday with an open house at its recently-renovated Jackson Square building.

Forward Janesville's Laurie Huml Eckert says the new satellite office for UW-Whitewater's Small Business Development Center will also be featured. That office will help start-up small businesses and provide advice to struggling businesses. Huml Eckert says the building is a great demonstration of what can be done by revitalizing old buildings. Forward Janesville, the Janesville Design and Development Center and the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin are housed in the Jackson Square building.
