US Embassy says Beloit College grad missing in Lebanon

A Beloit College graduate is one of two American journalists believed to be missing in Lebanon.

Beloit College spokesman Ron Nief says 23-year-old Taylor Luck found his interest in the Middle East as an international relations major at Beloit. Nief says the 2007 graduate from Chicago landed a job with an English-language newspaper, the Jordan Times.

The US Embassy says Luck and another journalist haven't been heard from since October 1 during a vacation to Lebanon. As of Saturday, they've been the subject of a missing person investigation in Lebanon.

Nief says many on campus are waiting for word.
