MILTON — The Milton Joint Fire Commission approved a 2009 budget Wednesday night, Chairwoman Sue Gavigan said.
Chief Loren Lippincott had proposed a $650,000 budget with a 9.9 percent drop in expenses. The commission passed the budget with the addition of $1-an-hour pay for firefighters and EMTs on standby, Gavigan said.
