Saturday voter registration

WCLO's Beth Wheelock reports that Rock County municipalities are opening their doors Saturday.

In an effort to keep poll workers from being overwhelmed, some Rock County municipalities are holding special voter registration hours Saturday.

Fulton Town Clerk/Treasurer Connie Zimmerman says with anticipation of a high voter turnout, clerks are trying to make it easier on election day for both voters and poll workers. Voters may also vote absentee during the Saturday hours. The cities of Edgerton, Milton and Janesville, and the towns of Fulton, Milton, Albion and Harmony are participating in the event.

The City of Beloit has Saturday hours November 1.
