Rock County Sheriff expands reach

The Rock County Sheriff's Office is increasing its presence in the western part of the county.

Residents in Footville are glad to have a new satellite sheriff's office. Village President Gary Selck helped do the honors Tuesday morning, as the sheriff's office moved into a renovated storage room in the Village Hall. Rock County Sheriff Bob Spoden opened the satellite office to better interact with residents.

A deputy will conduct routine office hours a couple days a week.
