Parker soccer team blanks Jefferson

— Kyle Walker’s hustle, good defense by the whole team and Peter Nicoloff's timely goalkeeping gave visiting Janesville Parker High School a 2-0 victory over Jefferson in nonconference boys soccer here Tuesday.

Walker scored both Parker goal--the at 40 minutes in the first half, and the second at 52 minutes in the second half.

“Kyle outhustled everyone,” Parker coach Andy Holmes said. “He made it to the ball and when you hustle good things are going to happen.’’

Nicoloff had four saves.

“Peter stopped two breakaways,” Holmes said. “Our defense and goalkeeper played excellent for us.’’

Parker (2-0) plays at Beloit at 7 p.m. Thursday.
