West pulls away from Parker soccer team
JANESVILLE Janesville Parker High School’s boys soccer team stayed with Madison West for a half.
The second half belonged to the visiting Regents, who pulled away to an 8-0 victory.
Paul Domann and Paul Lund scored two goals each for West while the Vikings managed only two shots on goal the entire game.
“The score might not indicate it, but I thought we played our best game of the year tonight,” Parker coach Andy Holmes said. “We were right there with them in the second half before a couple of penalty kicks gave them momentum.
“I was a little disappointed at the end because I felt West ran up the score a little bit against our reserves. But we walked off the field with our heads held high knowing we played our best game.”
Peter Nicoloff made 22 saves for Parker (4-4, 0-3).

Just curious how you can be right in there without getting off a shot. The madison paper which was there showed no legitimate shot by parker. Maybe not a good thing to say a team runs up the score. Parker seniors have put up with this coach for 3 years. They will have a tough enough time winning games as it is, they don't need him firing up other teams. In the end he cant play, the kids have too.
