A local investment adviser tells consumers the news from Wall Street isn't a disaster.

David Messling with Edward Jones says it does affect everyone in every community because the corporations involved are large. He says he has customers that own stocks and bonds with those companies so there are some concerns about it. Messling says consumers shouldn't let emotions get the best of them. He says the country has gone through similar situations with other companies in the banking industry and financial companies in the past.
