Beloit police have begun a death investigation after a body was found in an apartment in the 1900 block of Colony Court.
Police Captian Bill Tyler says a phone call tipped off police late Wednesday morning.
Few details are being released until more is known about the identity of the deceased, and the circumstances surrounding the death.
