WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on Janesville firefighters change in uniform

RSS

Members of the Janesville Fire Department plan to start wearing pink t-shirts as part of the uniform.

Firefighter-paramedic Scott Running says in support of the Craig and Parker High School Girls Soccer team's fundraising efforts to fight breast cancer, the firefighters have all bought a "Go Pink" t-shirt. The t-shirt has the department's logo and the fire chief has approved it as part of the uniform. Running says everyone in the department wanted to support the girls participation in the Leroy Butler Foundation Go Pink soccer games.

The firefighters and girls plan a group photo Monday night at 6:30 in front of fire station #4 on Milwaukee Street.
