ROCK COUNTY — The Swine Flu is reported in four states, California, Texas, Kansas and New York, but no cases have popped up in Wisconsin yet.
The Rock County Health Department is keeping watch on the progress of the flu. Health Officer, Karen Cain says they're letting the public know how to identify the flu and passing out other information.
Cain says contrary to what some people think, you can't get the Swine Flu from eating pork. But you can get it from someone who has come in contact with an infected pig.
Cain says symptoms of the Swine Flu are similar to other types of flu. She says the concern comes from a human's immune system, which can't handle the Swine Flu virus.
So far, there have been no reported deaths in the United States from the Swine Flu.
