BELOIT — Mike Ramsdail was elected president of the Beloit School Board during Tuesday night's meeting.
Ramsdail says with three new members, it's time to re-evaluate their goals and focus. One thing he says they'll be doing is stepping back and letting the professionals run the district. He says prior to the spring election, the board was accused of micro-managing.
Ramsdail says the board will also be getting ready for their new superintendent. Milton Thompson, from the Kenosha Unified School District, will be taking over July 1st.
