As Janesville Parker High School students prepare for Saturday's prom, Rock County Sheriff's deputies prepare for increase patrols through prom season.

Sheriff's Commander Troy Knudson says last year's patrols were successful, and parents are cooperating with the efforts for a "Safe and Sober Prom". He says parents are on the same page that they want the kids to have a safe prom, but enjoy the evening. The Sheriff's Office is increasing patrols throughout May, when Rock County's high schools hold their proms.
