Bags of fresh spinach are being pulled off store shelves in Wisconsin after food safety tests show the Kleen-Pak brand tested positive for Salmonella.

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection warns consumers to discard any 10-ounce bags of Kleen-Pak curly leaf freh spinach with the "use by dates" of April 29, April 30 and May 1. DATCP officials say the contamination at the Milwaukee-based company is not associated with a national Salmonella contamination in peanut butter, pistachios, or alfalfa sprouts.
