Janesville City Manager questions value of bike tunnel

Building a bike tunnel under Janesville's East Milwaukee street may not be the best way to spend dollars right now, according to City Manager Eric Levitt.

Levitt tells the Janesville Noon Kiwanis, a tunnel is the safest way to deal with pedestrian traffic, but other innovative and more economical ways to address concerns might be considered.

kudos to the city manager for finally thinking!!! I for one do not want to pay more taxes!! For heaven sake just stop, take a look both ways, then cross or wait till it's safe!!!! DUH!!!Now if he could only start thinking when it cames to the ice rink, childrens museum etc.......
