WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on status of local United Way Campaigns

RSS

The local United Way campaigns are creeping toward their fundraising goals.

The bulk of the fund raising campaigns are nearing an end. The Stateline United Way hosted a recognition breakfast last week. Stateline United Way Director Stephen Kincade says the fund drive is currently at 90% off its $1.4 million. United Way of North Rock County President Gail Graham is preparing for her annual meeting at the end of the month. She says the campaign is at less than 90% of its $1.35 million goal. Both campaigns have enjoyed an increase in workplace giving from many companies. The United Way or North Rock County is planning a recognition breakfast for February 25th.

Of course. that's also the day of the big Chevy Tahoe giveaway.
