Janesville Charter Schools considered worth the cost

As more budget pressure comes to bear on the Janesville School District, many programs are being scrutinized, including charter schools.

District Director of Instructional Services, and principal of two charger schools, Donna Behn tells WCLO's Stan Milam show, these educational opportunities are critical for many students. Behn says, without these types of educational programs, many at risk students might never graduate.

Behn also reassures taxpayers, these schools are required to maintain adequate progress in the core educational subjects of reading and math.
