Craig wrestlers reach 7-1 in Big Eight

Janesville Craig High School romped to a 50-27 victory at Madison East in Big Eight Conference wrestling Friday.

The Cougars won nine bouts, including three by forfeit to improve to 7-1 in the Big Eight.

Siven Furseth pinned East’s Ben Martin in 1 minute, 29 seconds at 119 pounds to improve to 8-0 in the Big Eight and 29-1 overall.

The Cougars will compete at the Monroe Invitational today.
