Sex offender being released Feb. 3 in Janesville

JANESVILLE — Sex offender Todd L. Gupton is scheduled to be released from prison Feb. 3 and begin living at Rock Valley Community Programs, 203 W. Sunny Lane, between Janesville and Beloit.

The 46-year-old was convicted of robbery and burglary in January 2004 and May 2004, respectively. He also was convicted of attempted second-degree sexual assault in December 1990 and child enticement in April 1989.

His supervision conditions prohibit him from having unsupervised contact with minors; from patronizing taverns, bars or liquor stores; from contacting his victims, and from consuming alcohol or illegal drugs.

He must comply with standard sex offender rules, wear a Global Positioning System bracelet and be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.

Gupton is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 164 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has two tattoos on his left hand—the letters T.G. and a dollar sign. Gupton also has been known as "Jimmy Brown" and "Todd Brown."
