Genrich leads Parker swimmers in Case Invitational

Marcus Genrich won the 100-yard breaststroke to highlight action for Janesville Parker High School’s boys swim team Saturday in the Racine Case Invitational.

Kenosha Bradford won the 10-team meet with 381 points, while the co-op team of Lake Geneva Badger/Walworth Big Foot was second with 305. Elkhorn finished fourth with 269, and Parker was seventh with 214.

Genrich won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.65. Parker’s Nick Olin was third in the 200 freestyle (1:55.02) and Genrich was fourth in the 100 freestyle (52.55).

Elkhorn’s Dalton Anderson won the 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley, while the Elks’ 400 freestyle relay team of Cory Hoskins, Zac Simon, Ethan Lockhart and Anderson won with a time of 3:27.95.

Parker High will compete Saturday at the Big Eight Conference Meet at Middleton.
