Silver Hawks rally past Beloit Snappers

BELOIT — The Beloit Snappers played giveaway Thursday night.

South Bend scored five unearned runs in the sixth inning en route to a 6-5 win in Midwest League baseball at Pohlman Field.

Beloit led 4-1 after five innings, but two costly errors in the sixth led to the Silver Hawks’ outburst.

Angel Morales had two hits and scored three runs for Beloit.

The two teams wrap up the three-game series tonight.
