Republicans and Democrats from Wisconsin do not agree on the effectiveness of President Barack Obama's health care proposal.

Congressman Paul Ryan of Janesville says the proposal includes a trillion dollars in new spending, and involves the government taking over much of the health care sector. Not so, says Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin. She says the proposal is the most important aspect of getting the nation's economy on track. She says it provides Americans with real choices and reduces the spiraling costs of health care.

President Obama told reporters during a news conference Wednesday evening that health care is not a game and Americans have been forced to shoulder the burden of health care for decades.
