WCLO's Steve Benton reports on a ribbon cutting at the newly refurbished Riverside Park wading pool

RSS

— The city of Janesville officially re-opens the Riverside Park wading pool Friday with a ribbon cutting.

Friends of Riverside Park spokesman, Dennis Steed, says after being closed for about ten years, the pool is once again open to children up to age 8. He says the effort to renovate the pool was a collaborative effort between the city and local groups and individuals.

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for noon. The pool is open from noon to 6 pm and is located at 2200 Parkside Drive.
