Police arrest juveniles suspected in Edgerton burglaries
EDGERTON Edgerton police arrested five juveniles Thursday in connection with two burglaries.
Edgerton boys ages 13 to 16 broke into the Filling Station, 611 N. Main St., early the morning of July 21 and Sid's Tire Auto & Muffler, 1020 N. Main St., overnight July 21 to 22, said Lt. Bob Bolgrihn of the Edgerton Police Department.
Two teens stole cigarettes and alcohol in the Filling Station burglary, and four teens stole cigarettes, candy and other merchandise in the Sid's burglary, Bolgrihn said. One 15-year-old boy was involved in both burglaries, he said.
The boys were arrested and confessed after police identified them from surveillance tapes, Bolgrihn said.
"There's a lot of peer pressure out there and kids making bad decisions," he said.
Police don't believe the boys committed another burglary reported at the Filling Station on July 22, Bolgrihn said.

Well, it really wasn't. It had to be someone else's.

By saying that it gives them an excuse. "peer pressure" sounds like " It's not my fault"

Between *poor choice* and *bad decision* there seems to be a lot of not taking responsibility anymore. I'm just saying.
