BELOIT — A 27 year old Beloit man is critically injured in a motorcycle crash early Thursday morning.
Beloit police say Thomas Lavelle lost control on a curve on Cranston road, hit the curb, and crashed.
Police say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash. Lavelle was ticketed for operating while intoxicated and driving at an unreasonable and imprudent speed.
Lavelle was flown by helicopter to U-W Hospital in Madison.
The accident occurred shortly after two A.M.
