Fund-raiser to aid "at risk" students in Janesville

WCLO's Steve Benton reports on a concert and silent auction to benefit "at risk" students in the Janesville school district.

JANESVILLE — The Janesville Performing Arts Center will come alive with music and activity Wednesday night as a special fund-raiser for "at risk" students in the Janesville School District gets underway.

Featuring Alex Call and Lisa Carrie, well established musicians from Nashville, the music begins around 7:30.

Prior to that, a silent auction will be held, beginning at 6:00.

Organizer, and school board member, Lori Stottler, says their goal is to raise $20,000, but she expects to do better than that.
