Another one-way Janesville thoroughfare is about to return to two-way traffic.

Senior Engineer Dennis Ryan says the conversion of North Franklin Street, from Mineral Point Avenue to North Washington Street, should be complete sometime Thursday. The conversion work will include pavement marking, signing, and parking changes, in additional to the creation of an all-way stop at the intersection of North Franklin Street, North Washington Street, Highland Avenue, and North Pearl Street.

Ryan says both Mercy Hospital and Riverview are behind the change, which should increase emergency access in the area.
