Terry shines; Spotlighters take eighth
FRIDLEY, MINN. Janesville Craig High School senior Patrick Terry was named outstanding male soloist at the Totino-Grace Show Choir Spectacular over the weekend.
The Craig Spotlighters did not do as well, placing eighth out of 12 groups that included competition from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, said Spotlighters Co-Director Bob Schrank.
A group from Bemidji, Minn. won the competition. La Crosse Central High School placed second.
The Spotlighters head to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this weekend for their final competition of the year.
The Spotlighters’ final concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, in the auditorium at Craig, 401 S. Randall Ave. The Craig vocal jazz group also will perform.

Charge on the 18th is $2, or $1 for students and senior citizens. -- Gazette reporter Frank Schultz

I saw Patrick as "the Beast" in Beauty and the Beast last fall. He has a tremendous voice as did the rest of the cast. The talent level at the Craig High school musicals is equal to the Fireside or Armory in my opinion.
I wonder if there is a charge on the 18th?
