Riverfest books Guess Who, Beach Boys

BELOIT — The Guess Who and The Beach Boys will apparently take the state at Beloit's Riverfest in July.
Both bands are listed as playing Riverfest on the Web site pollstar.com, which tracks musical acts around the country.
The Guess Who is scheduled to play Saturday, July 11, while The Beach Boys will follow on Sunday, July 12, according to the site.
For The Beach Boys, it will be a return engagement. The band played the Beloit event last summer.
The annual festival will open Thursday, July 9.

Yeah, they are all dead but they refuse to stop annoying us, nonetheless. The only thing original left from the band is Mike Love's wig.

It would be nice if your writers could at least get the dates correct for items printed in your paper. Please note the following::

The Beloit River Fest started today Wednesday July 6th not Thursday the 9th and the Guess Who will play Saturday July 9th and The Beach Boys will play Sunday July 10th. Not Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th. I am a new resident in Beloit and when I know more then your writers it is ashamed. It really isn't that hard to pick up a phone and make sure they have the correct dates or check on the internet. a few clicks and you have all the info you need.
